Bookasaurus does it againI'm not really sure whether I should be happy or not. You see, I just burned cash. Out of impulse. No. Not really. I have a reason for it albeit a petty one. Haha. Enough with the chase... I just bought a new book.
|5th book of G.R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire Series|
Books are kryptonite. Well, for me. One call from it and I'll be on a trance - picking one mindlessly, smelling the pages indulgently, letting my fingers skim across the spine like it's a lover's skin, then coming back to my senses only to find myself handing over my hard-earned money. Just like that.
The thing is, I bought this for the reason that it should motivate me to finish the fourth book of the series. Truth be told, A Feast for Crows (Book 4) dismayed me. It's too dragging and I'm struggling with it.
Don't get me wrong, I love Geoge R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series but book 4 just doesn't cut it. The story feels like it was paused. The unfinished story lines and the characters that just went AWOL was a letdown for me and it feels like they were held until the next volume. So yeah, the next volume it is. :)
But anyway, a book is a book. The smell of it alone gives me the high and the places it can take me are priceless. And yes, I'm now pretty sure I'm happy I bought one. :)
