Ako Si Jun-jun

By Sarah Aterrado - April 23, 2016

My second name was derived from my birth month. So if I were born a boy, I would most likely be named June. And perhaps will be given a nickname Jun-jun. Which would make me cringe the same way I cringe when I think about the fact that some people still call me Jane-jane. Ugh.

I have always wondered, what would it be like if I were, indeed, Jun-jun? Just a few weeks ago, I found this beard and mustache toy scattered around the house, so I tried it on just for the heck of it. Add a bonnet and tsaraaaaan!

Presenting, Jun-jun:

So this is how I would look like if I were a guy. Hmm... interesting. Remove the bust and add a little more thickness to the brows, bulk the limbs a bit and perhaps some tattoo over there, then maybe, I would be that boy next door. Haha. Well, I would like to think I am pogi just like my papa.

Anyway, I have seen a lot of posts on Facebook on how complicated it is to be a woman just like this one:
Number 2 already lost me there. Which makes me think, I may not be a woman after all. Well, it can't be denied that I do possess a lot of boyish qualities like:

1. I sit, stand, and walk like a guy. Not in a macho kind of way. But I have a stance just enough to get the message across, touch-me-and-I'll-kill-you kind of way.

2. I have a high tolerance for pain.

3. Jeans, shirt, and sneakers are my thing.

4. I have the appetite of a man.

5. I am into sports.

6. I don't wear makeup.

7. I don't like Korean dramas, KPOP or whatever Korean that makes girls go gaga.

8. I think like a man.

9. And it can go as green as it gets.

Well, being a guy would have really been better. No monthly periods, no menstrual cramps, no dramas, no mood swings,  no pregnancy, and no giving birth at that. Plus, parents wouldn't be so tight on you, and you can have a lot of sex, drugs, and rock n' roll (of course, I'm kidding).

Although wearing high heels is murder, I still think it is fun and better being a woman. After all, aside from multiple orgasms, women have a lot of perks and more privileges than guys do, and I would not have it any other way.
Snapchat, ang lakas makadiwata. Pwede sa tuwing pagselfie ko nakaSnapchat na lang ako? Haha
P.S. Hindi ako maputi. Sa Snapchat lang yan.
