So, I'm On the News

By Sarah Aterrado - May 20, 2019

The last time my name was printed on a local newspaper was in high school (about 16 years ago) when my football team won against a college team and the two scorers' names were mentioned. That was a huge deal back then.

Right now, where the generation is more fragile than a snowflake, the least you would want is attention from people you do not know. This blog has gone viral once. With at least 27,000 shares, the post has gotten at least a hundred thousand hits per day. And even with it being a considerably good read, I've received grave threats more than once.
With that being said, the last thing I would want is to go viral for the wrong reasons. Not that I've gone viral today nor in my wildest dreams do I plan on being one. But I just didn't think that a small social media rant would actually find its way to the local e-news. Haha! (That post has been taken down after 8telcom has given their official statement, btw)

It's not a big deal. But I'm just happy to see that my new last name has finally been used officially other than just having it changed on Facebook (yes, mababaw ako haha).

Also, I don't rant on social media (I do that sh*t here). But ever since after the wedding, I did have all the time in the world to do something that's not worthwhile—like attempting to line up for 8telcom's huge sale, followed by a verbal diarrhea on social media, and becoming less tolerant to the stupidity of those who comment "wow cool post, thanks for sharing" I almost made a lengthy post about it—that I've forgotten about my month-old pile of laundry, this blog, and my cat.

P.S. This is going to be the first and last time that I'll fall for these zombie-apocalyptic huge sale traps. Unless it is an 80% off on cat food, I'm staying home.
